Die Neue Sammlung – The Design Museum<\/strong>
has been around for 100 years<\/strong> now.
The museum celebrates this with
a special exhibition of 100 objects<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n

\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\n
\t

Die Neue Sammlung has around 120,000 design objects<\/strong>
from more than 20 fields of art.
This makes Die Neue Sammlung
the largest design museum<\/strong> in the world.
The selected 100 objects show
that all these works of art are very different.
The exhibition shows many famous design objects<\/strong>.

But there are also other objects
that were important when they were created.
You can see many of these important objects for
the first time in the Pinakothek der Moderne.

Most museums arrange the objects in
an exhibition by age<\/strong>.
This exhibition is different:
The objects are arranged according to
when the museum received them.
This way, you can see which areas of the collection<\/strong>
have changed<\/strong> over time.

This also answers some questions:
When were certain objects collected?
What was popular at a certain time?
What new techniques were used?

The exhibition also shows the influences and developments
that have taken place.
This allows you to experience <\/strong>
Die Neue Sammlung<\/strong> in a completely new way<\/strong>.
