When Die Neue Sammlung commissioned Christoph Niemann to create a wall illustration for the children’s book exhibition \u201cWhere the Wild Lines are<\/a>\u201d, the illustrator was inspired by the title of the exhibition and began to draw. The first illustration eventually became more than twenty motifs, which are spread across the walls and balustrades of the rotunda, bringing the books in the display cases to life in a unique way. From his work on the wall drawings, Niemann developed the book “DRAW”, which invites children and adults to get creative and draw for themselves.
