The DIALOOGKREATIV<\/a> project and the “Inspired Concept Store” in the Loftcube<\/a> will be officially opened on July 2, 2018 at 7.00 p.m.<\/span> by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Wepke Kingma, the Deputy Mayor of the City of Amsterdam, Udo Kock, and the Deputy Director of Employment and Economic Affairs for the Federal State Capital of Munich, Kurt Kapp, as well as Angelika Nollert, Director of Neue Sammlung.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n

The Loftcube as a temporary fashion and design platform<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n

By invitation of Die Neue Sammlung \u2013 The Design Museum, the Loftcube<\/a><\/strong> by Berlin-based industrial designer Werner Aisslinger will be on display on the Pinakothek der Moderne grounds on the Gabelsbergerstrasse side until mid-September.
For four weeks in July, Aisslinger\u2019s Loft Cube will be transformed into a lively summer store \u2013 the “Inspired Concept Store”<\/strong> \u2013 featuring design and fashion from the Netherlands.

The store is part of the collaborative DIALOOGKREATIV project, which was initiated by the regions of Munich, Amsterdam and Utrecht, and will present fresh, innovative, contemporary and sustainable Dutch fashion design.
Fashion from young Dutch designers and artists is set to find new admirers in this “Inspired Concept Store” created by curator Martiene Raven in collaboration with the M-ODE Foundation Amsterdam<\/a> and the Centraal Museum Utrecht<\/a>. Shoppers will find shoes inspired by Dutch painter Piet Mondriaan, recycling-based jeans, refined Fair Trade jewelry and much more besides.

In honor of the presentation of Vermeer\u2019s “Woman in Blue Reading a Letter”, a dress by Dutch fashion designer Tess van Zalinge will also be on display in Alte Pinakothek<\/a> \u2013 bridging the gap between old and new, between Dutch painting and contemporary design.
